WordPress Engineer Giancarlo Mosso

I knew that Inpsyde has a great team and works on sophisticated client projects, it allows people to work from their own home and country and also treat each employee as a human.

In this article, we want to introduce Giancarlo Mosso. He supports the Inpsyde team as a WordPress developer since October 2020. We are very happy to welcome Giancarlo as he is a perfect reinforcement for our international team.

This is Giancarlo Mosso

How would you describe yourself?

I am a curious person and I like learning new things. I am open-minded and I am very interested in other cultures and learning new languages. My dream is that one day, humans will stop polluting and destroying our own environment. From this point of view working from home allows decreasing pollution because I don’t have to use my car as I had to do in the past.

How do you spend your spare time?

One of my greatest passions is traveling. When I was young I made several trips across Europe, North Africa and near Asia with my friends by train. Later on, I discovered South America and immediately liked their culture, lifestyle and food. Also this journey became even more special as I found my wife there.

When it comes to sports, I used to play basketball and now I like cycling. I also enjoy reading good books and cooking some good Asado (barbecue). In the latest years, I discovered meditation and mindfulness, which helped me a lot to improve my life. During my spare time, I also give my little contribution to society by being a blood donor and a member of the Italy-Argentina twinning association of my city. And last but not least, I have a small kid and I like very much playing with him and staying with my family.

Giancarlo’s way to Inpsyde

I graduated in Physics with some exams in electronics and computer programming, but I had always a passion for computing and spent most of my career programming. I started with Windows desktop applications, then I programmed in C and other embedded languages. To control electronic devices, I used Python and in the latest years, I started programming for the web by developing small WordPress sites and a PHP internal application for my previous company.

In general, I like the web and the open-source philosophy because they allow everyone to access technology and to earn the money they need, no matter where they live.

Inpsyde seemed to be a company that supports such values. I knew that Inpsyde has a great team and works on sophisticated client projects, it allows people to work from their own home and country and also treat each employee as a human. Also, the team is good and friendly and I am learning new things. I am looking forward to improving my skills and contribute to the company growth.
