In this post, we would like to tell you more about Inpsyder Dario Morbidi. He is part of the Inpsyde family since March 2018.
By the way: The Inpsyde Team is 100% remote
This enables us to bring together the best minds in the world in one team. You want to learn more about our way of working and the Inpsyders? Take a look inside Inpsyde!
This is Dario Morbidi
Dario is 43 years old and lives near to Rome, Italy.
Tell us something about yourself …
Well … what you need to know about me is that I really like to learn new things. So when possible I study to update my skills, both professional and personal ones. And I like being busy at work, finding the best solution for production processes and experiment with new techs.
I have a degree in Computer Engineering and a master in Business Administration. Before becoming an Inpsyder, I worked in a software company for more than 10 years, though, not remotely. During this time I learned a lot about company processes and development activities and trained my consultancy skills. I worked in different positions, directly with clients, both as a developer and consultant or as a social media analyst.
I grabbed all the possible knowledge from my colleagues working in very different environments – from big national companies like National Telephone Company, Italian Post company or Alitalia to little businesses. There I faced projects on various technologies. This trained me to switch from one technology to another quickly and adapt the business/client request fast to new working environments.
Dario’s way to Inpsyde
I also gained some freelancing experience and then became an Inpsyder! My way to Inpsyde was led by the wish to focus only on the job. I didn’t want to waste my time with long underground travels every day, or hours in traffic. I didn’t want to spend my time in uncomfortable places for work, or with nothing but a quick sandwich for lunch. That’s why I thought this new working way (remotely) could be something that fits my needs. I could start the day by going to my home office and switching on my computer. And then focussing on work for 100%.
I’m happy I got the job. At Inpsyde, I support the marketing area and the sales of products. Due to working remotely, I can use all my energy to my profession. At the same time, I have the possibility to be next to my family and save time for them and for me. Amazing! Moreover, I have the possibility to work with an international team. This is amazing, too.
How do you spend your spare time?
I love reading several different kinds of books. Sometimes, I write stuff, too. I like traveling and visiting new places with my family. When the weather is warm, I like having long walks with my family or friends. I also like watching movies and doing sports. Currently, I practice Aikido, a good way to train my body and not to become too lazy. Oh, and I forgot: I like eating … but not cooking :). And I have to confess that I am pizza addicted!
I was born near to the sea, and I like spending some time at the seaside in summer. In Rome, the water is not that clean, so, when possible I go to other places in Italy where it is possible to relax enjoying the hot sun and clear water.
Questions to Inpsyder Dario
We asked Dario a few personal questions, so you can learn more about him.
Who was your hero as a child?
I belong to the Japanese cartoon generation … there is a lot to choose from… Maybe Hiroshi Shiba, but also Actarus could be a good choice.
What makes you really angry?
We live in a time in which anyone on the net can write nonsense and claim to be fundamental truths. It is not only annoying but also dangerous.
What is your midnight snack?
If I wake up in the middle of the night, there has to be a serious reason for that. Well, it means I am really hungry: so I eat everything I find in the fridge.
What was the last book you read?
A Nero Wolfe novel.
What should be written on your gravestone?
Will be back asap!
If you had a superpower, what would that be?
Healing power, like Wolverine, but more to heal other people, too.
Describe your ideal weekend.
Spend time with my family and best friends. Laughing together, always.
