Project Manager Stefan Vulina

The variety of interesting projects and a flexible work environment initially piqued my interest.

In this article, we want to introduce Stefan Vulina. He supports the Inpsyde team as Project Manager since January 2021.

This is Stefan Vulina

Stefan Vulina lives in Waterloo, Canada.

Here are two pictures. On the first one, Stefan is standing smiling in sporty outfit on a hill with the sea in the background. On the second picture, Stefan is wearing a warm snowsuit while standing in a wide snowy landscape with a forest and a frozen lake in the background.
Stefan enjoys new challenges

How would you describe yourself?

I tend to be fairly rational and analytical, and thoroughly enjoy playing devil’s advocate. I also tend to be very pragmatic in my daily approach, and I like to tinker with everything and optimize it as much as possible. In addition to this, I enjoy meeting new people and seeing their perspective on the world.

Health is very important to me. At times, I can go overboard with this, optimizing my lifestyle choices to the point where I am quantifying every health marker I can find and tracking what I eat to the gram. Nowadays, I take a much more laid back approach.

The most important thing to me is my friends and family. I derive a lot of pleasure from interacting with my close inner circle.

How do you spend your spare time?

I spend most of my time reading, specifically non-fiction. I attempt to learn and gather as much information as I can. I do not have a goal or objective. I am very epistemically curious, which leads me to acquire a lot of general knowledge. I love updating my beliefs that improve my decision-making, so I have more positive-sum games with those around me.

Otherwise, I try to balance this all out with resistance training, endurance training and spending time with my significant other, friends and family.

Stefan’s way to Inpsyde

Initially, I wanted to study mathematics, but I was beginning to get more interested in the health sciences. I decided to go down the science route, attended university, and focused my course load between human factors and neuroscience courses. After my undergraduate, I was initially planning to go to graduate school, but I wanted to join the workforce and ended up doing so. From here, I worked in different industries and jobs related to business analysis and project management until finally landing here at Inpsyde.

The variety of interesting projects and a flexible work environment initially piqued my interest. I look forward to solving and avoiding coordination failures. In project management, you have a lot of different responsibilities which keeps it constantly challenging.
