Thank you 2016!
We look back on memories as a new year begins, trying to decide whether the past year was a good one. That, of course, depends on a great many factors. We dedicated most of our time to customer projects, the ongoing development of our plugins and of course to WordPress.
From a technology standpoint it is quite easy to look at facts and figures to evaluate the work that was done. That is why we have put together the most meaningful statistics here for you – but these don’t bear witness to the countless commits and plugins by our amazingly active coworkers.
According to our WordPress.org profile, the following numbers bear witness to the past year:
Total downloads of Inpsyde plugins in 2016
That is a proud number indeed and strengthens our commitment and belief in what we do and how we do it. We love our work, and our plugins help you overcome various tasks and challenges. We will definitely not stop doing that either – quite the opposite: numbers like these give us the motivation to be even more creative every single day, to find new ideas and implement them for you!
Most downloaded Inpsyde plugins
Our plugins are downloaded on average 43,756 times a week!
You have also rated our plugins repeatedly. We are proud to say that you have given us 4.6 of 5 stars. That means that 86% of all ratings were actually 5 stars!
First German WordPress VIP Service Partner
Yep, we are still incredibly proud of the accolade of being the first German-speaking WordPress VIP Service Partner, and will be celebrating our first VIP birthday in a few days. 😉

We too like taking a break and enjoying our holidays. And because of this holiday mood, a little team challenge has come up in which every Inpsyder could join by sending a holiday pic with sunny greetings, via Slack, to the entire team. Well … one of them was actually taken at work in the hot Ibbenbüren …. but which one is it? Here are the results and we even had our own beach with almost exact Inpsyde colors. 🙂
Next year – we hope – there will be plenty more pictures featuring the green shirts. If you would like the chance to contribute a picture of you in a green Inpsyde shirt, send in your job application! We also need to make sure that there will always be new generations of Inpsyders, so we do our best to produce some ourselves – engineered by Inpsyde. 😉
What else can we say about 2016?
Thank you to everyone, who continued to put their trust in us and our products in 2016. We are looking forward to continuing to be active for you, to initiate successful projects and implement them. It is sometimes a little sad that we all work so far apart from each other, but at least we can choose to work where we like and can even combine our workplace with holidays. One thing is for sure: You can definitely choose where you would like to work. It is a way that we have found very helpful in counteracting the shortage of skilled workers.
Many thanks also to our great team of fantastic and super competent colleagues. Great to have you all on board and it is really great that last year saw the arrival of Giuseppe Mazzapica, David Remer and Mike Pretzlaw to boost the team!
2016 was a great year with plenty of new challenges and many changes. We are therefore optimistic in our view of 2017 and are very much looking forward to supporting your projects, meeting you all at various events like local MeetUps or national and international WordCamps. And please keep being active!
