Supporter Kevin Christian Lalang

The culture of working remotely just shows how much Inpsyde trusts their employees to be responsible for their own work.

In this article, we want to introduce Kevin Christian Lalang. He is a Supporter at the Inpsyde Team.

He is a multilingual professional who speaks Indonesian, English and Chinese and is currently learning German and French as well. He loves working with people and alongside with colleagues.

This is Kevin

Kevin lives in Makassar, Indonesia.

Kevin loves to travel and discover new places like Labuan Bajo

How would you describe yourself?

I love, love, love traveling. I mean, aren’t we all? I personally get so giddy when I have the chance to go to places I’ve never been to. One of my happiest traveling moments was when I visited Labuan Bajo last February. There is also where the Komodo lives. It was surreal to have seen the dragon itself not through National Geographic, but with my own two eyes.

I also have immense interest with languages. Currently, I speak 3 languages, which are Indonesian, English, and Chinese. I learnt German and French as well, but stopped due to the pandemic. I honestly don’t know what started it or how, but I am glad it did because the languages have brought me to so many opportunities and introduced me to many great individuals.

Lastly, I enjoy socializing with people. I think that’s always been my great strength. Talking to other people about each other’s interests, especially the mutual ones, really excites me. Although there are times when I feel burnt out and avoid as much interaction as possible, once that feeling subsides, I’m back to how I was before.

Family, friends, and health are very important things for me.

Before the pandemic, I usually spent my spare time hanging out with good friends. But now, I mostly spend my spare time either watching Netflix’s latest series with my Mom or simply taking some rest.

Kevin’s way to Inpsyde

My professional career revolves around language use. My first job was a Mandarin translator, and next thing I know, I was an English Content Writer.

My languages are probably the greatest strength in my CV, so most of the time, I was hired because of them. I always wanted to know more about WordPress, so Inpsyde was immediately interesting to me and I didn’t think twice before applying.

The culture of working remotely just shows how much Inpsyde trusts their employees to be responsible for their own work. Things I especially like about my new job are the learning experience and working alongside new colleagues.
