How would you describe yourself?

I am a curious person, who always wants to learn new things. I don’t like to stand still. This applies to the professional side as well as to the private one. That is why I am always very positive about changes, like to walk on unfamiliar paths, and like to spend time with different people in order to get to know them better.

How do you spend your spare time?

I usually enjoy a good game of badminton. Badminton is in Malaysia what football is in Germany. Here it is a popular sport and is practiced at a highly competitive level.

When I’m not playing badminton, I like to meet up with friends. We then just sit together and talk about everyone and their brother over a good meal. My family doesn’t live that far away either, so we meet often too.

I also read a lot, take photos, watch Netflix, or listen to music. I really enjoy traveling, so I can’t wait for the world to open up again soon!

What is important to you?

It is important for me to have my family and friends close and around me. Spending time with them knowing that everyone is fine and that they are happy is the most important thing for me. I also strive to be satisfied with my life as well. Everyone should wish for themselves health and a happy life and to enjoy every day as best they can.

It is therefore also a lucky strike for me to be able to work at Inpsyde. Because something is moving here and I can move something. This is very important to me. Stagnant or well-known things are a horror to me. For this reason, I also changed my job, because I was no longer satisfied with my old job. In addition, thanks to remote work, I can work wherever I want – a great idea for when we are able to travel again and simply take my work with me.

Can you tell a little story which describes best who you are?

There are many crossroads in life that try to lure me out of my comfort zone – whether I am considering staying where I feel most comfortable or I would rather go out into the world and challenge the status quo. I will postpone the decision a little longer…

I grow in unfamiliar situations in which almost everything seems challenging at first glance. In the end, I always take pride in finding ways to get along with them.

Jamie’s way to Inpsyde

I studied computer science and started my career as a programmer. But you can also learn where you work. You always meet people who can teach you something – be it a specific technical knowledge or social skill, for example, how to treat everyone equally.

I enjoy solving problems, working out solutions and trying out different ways that can help.

I am enthusiastic about the culture of mutual support and the people who work at Inpsyde. I find the 100% remote work experience to be a very interesting aspect, as the employees at Inpsyde work from home right from the start.
