Content Marketing Manager Amera Safira
Everyone is so welcoming here. I’ve never felt out of place despite not being in the same country or even time zones as many of my colleagues.
In this article, we want to introduce Amera. She complements our Inpsyde Team as Content Marketing Manager.
This is Amera Safira
Amera lives in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

How would you describe yourself?
My closest friends describe me as a bubbly person who likes to smile and laugh the most. I love making new connections with people as well as learning and discovering new things.
Since I’m a highly curious person by nature, when I like something, I’m gonna spend a lot of time learning everything there’s to know about it to be good at it.
This sometimes backfires, and I’ll get bored of hobbies pretty quickly. For instance, I started trying to play the ukulele last year, but since you can’t be good right away, it was very quickly frustrating for me.
That’s why now, I just try to take my time and enjoy my hobbies without having to be good at them!
Oh, and I like it when things are organized and structured neatly. I like having daily routines that keep me “grounded,” whether it’s as simple as waking up at a certain time every day.
I also love learning new languages! Languages such as Korean and Spanish, there’s just something about speaking and interacting in different languages which excites and fascinates me.
I would love to learn Filipino and maybe Mandarin as well in the future.
How do you spend your spare time?
Although I love socializing and talking to people, I have enjoyed the comfort of home more than I expected these past two years due to the pandemic.
This, of course, also changes how I spend my spare time nowadays. Before, I used to like going out and exploring new places such as beaches and cafes (my city has a lot of them!).
Now I spend my spare time with my younger siblings, watching Netflix and playing PS4 together. Sometimes I also play online multiplayer games with my friends.
For non-screen activities, I like to read and bake. I like different genres, but I mostly enjoy classical books, thrillers, sci-fi, and other fictional books.
My goal is to read at least three books a month this year! As for baking, I like to try out viral recipes from different social media platforms.
What is important to you?
Being happy and healthy is the most important thing right now. I believe by being happy and healthy; I can bring joy and positivity to those around me.
But of course, my friends and family are just as important! They’re my support, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without my loved ones.
Amera’s way to Inpsyde
I actually started my professional career as an English teacher. I taught middle school for two years before realizing that teaching was not something I enjoyed doing.
That’s when I started applying for other jobs. I’ve always loved writing, but I never thought it’d be something I’d do professionally.
Then, I was hired as a writer by an international hosting company. I learned many things about writing, digital marketing, and technology. That’s what drove me to learn more about content marketing, especially SEO.
I love creating informative content. Especially, when the content successfully educates the readers, raises awareness, and influences them to use a certain product or brand — for me, that is a job well done!
I’ve taken a liking to WordPress during my three years working in a hosting company. We used the CMS for everything; posting new content, creating websites, and so on.
However, I haven’t gotten a chance to fully immerse myself in it since my work didn’t allow me to just focus on creating content for one management system.
That’s when I knew joining Inpsyde would be such a privilege since I can still create content and do digital marketing, while simultaneously learning more about WordPress!
The open work culture and remote work situation also appealed to me. I love that here at Inpsyde, we can work from home without compromising things such as good communication and productivity.
Since I joined Inpsyde, every day has been interesting and informative. There’s never been a dull day. Every new task is challenging, so I can’t wait to learn more and contribute to the work!
And I look forward to learning more about WordPress every day.
