Project Manager Alejandro Isaac Zorrilla

My new job as a Project Manager is awesome especially because it involves the coding environment also known as programming. That’s why I’m looking forward to learning as much as possible about the business model itself as well as web design milestones. Thankfully I am surrounded by the best professionals in today’s market.

In this article, we want to introduce Alejandro. He supports our Inpsyde Team as Project Manager.

This is Alejandro Isaac Zorrilla

Alejandro lives in Madrid, Spain.

How would you describe yourself?

I am a hardworking, easy-going, self-confident, and constructive person. That’s why I sincerely believe that anything is possible if you have the right mindset, attitude, and people around you.

How do you spend your spare time?

In my leisure time, I like to go swimming, it really relaxes me. I’m also enthusiastic about motorcycle racing (MotoGP), as well as Formula One.

Above all, I always enjoy adventures my kids can experience, especially the ones I can do with them. Unfortunately, they always fall asleep as soon as we drive off in the car – but they also wake up very quickly. Then we play hide & seek, soccer, treasure hunts, or just playing around on  the playground.

I love taking them to see new places, explaining the history behind it, and how it’s all interconnected.

What is important to you?

It may sound cliched, but family is the most important thing to me. Since we all live spread out all over the world, we, unfortunately, don’t see each other that often. That is why every moment together is precious and invaluable. It’s really fun because we spend our time chatting , laughing, and catching up.

Through these hectic  times, you learn to appreciate what is essential in life. Time is priceless!

Can you tell a little story which desribes best who you are?

I am the youngest of four siblings, all of whom are engineers and architects by the way. While always relaxed I used to be a rebellious kid, conscious that every day is a gift and it’s within ourselves to make it worthy. I am loving, disciplined, and very enthusiastic about technology and motorsports.

Alejandro’s way to Inpsyde

I have a degree as a computer systems engineer and am trained in project management. That’s why I switched to project management after starting as an IT technician.

Since I’ve always been tech-savvy, I highly believe that technology will be the gateway to a better society but definitely needs it’s  internet content and speed to be taken down a notch or two.

What interested me the most about Inpsyde was that it was a well-respected German company. I think it’s perfect because I’m a big fan of German engineering; it reminds me of the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team.

I also took German courses during my studies, but most definitely need to hear and speak on a daily basis, otherwise I’m back to square one.

Also, I have come across an open-minded work mentality here at Inpsyde, and the management is always available – regardless of the respective position in the company. I honestly love that.

Questions to Inpsyder Alejandro

We asked Alejandro a few personal questions to learn more about him:

What was the last book you read?

Not a book per se, but a project management blog/guide for unstructured companies. The post was pretty interesting because it showed the expectations towards reality when implementing projects.

What was the best advice you ever got? Who gave it to you?

My father once said to me: “Life is just a game, my boy – enjoy it and let things take care of themselves. Everything will be fine!” I always feel good about it!

What do you like most about your city?

I currently live in Madrid, especially in Leganes. Madrid nowadays is a cosmopolitan for tourism and business while still maintaining Spanish customs and traditions. Spain is commonly known as a gastronomical paradise and with good reason, the food quality is unbelievable. Also, you have so many historical and modern places to visit with your family that you will seriously need two lifetimes to get to know it all.

What is your favorite smartphone app?

DAZN is a sports app that has MotoGP and Formula 1 races, press conferences, and highlights. I especially like this app because it’s the best investment ever!

What is the best meal you can cook on your own?

I think of myself as a good cook, not a chef! I have great admiration for those who spend their lives among meals, fire, and heat! With regards to dishes, I can mention a few like Paella, beef soup, spaghetti and meatballs, occasional BBQs, rice and shrimps, and lasagña, to name a few.

You get stuck in the elevator for many hours and there’s a song playing in a continuous loop, what song would that be?

Considering that I have two children, i. e., based on my daily family agenda, it will probably be “Baby Shark”. But I hate that song!
