How would you describe yourself?

I’m a PHP developer and I love what I do. And I always dreamed of living in different countries and seeing the world since I am a curious person and want to learn more about other cultures and lives. Working remotely at Inpsyde has brought me one step nearer to this dream.

I already travel whenever I can. So far I’ve been for example in Czechia, Denmark, Bulgaria, Russia, and Sweden. Especially Sweden was a very cool trip because it was in winter and the landscape was just wonderful. I mostly travel with my backpack and use public transport services. In this way, I can just live for the moment. When something gets in my mind that I want to have a closer look at, I see how I can get there. I am not a very experienced traveler yet. But I definitely want to see more of the world. At the moment, I’m thinking about which country I’d like to live in for the next few years. Maybe Czechia because I have been there with my girlfriend once and it seemed like an interesting place to live.

How do you spend your spare time?

I’m reading, listening to music, and spending time with my girlfriend. For example, I like fantasy, science fiction, and detective stories. But it always depends on my mood. It’s the same with music. But I mainly prefer metal and also old rock from time to time.

Moving forward is very important to me. So, I always try to develop myself. Life’s going on and I don’t want to waste it. And luckily, most of the time, I am happy with my decisions and my life.

Kirill’s way to Inpsyde

I am a self-taught programmer. It started back in high school when one of my classmates showed me a Linux-based operating system. That aroused my interest. I wanted to learn how it works. Over time I learned more and more about computers and IT.

It was just a hobby for a few years, but someday I decided to make this my profession. I started as a freelancer, then I worked a couple of years in an office. But I wanted to travel and live around the world. That’s why I left the office and joined Inpsyde. To have the ability to work from everywhere is very valuable for me.

Moreover, Inpsyde has very high code standards and I appreciate that because, in this way, I can best improve my skills and learn new things. I am already looking forward to my first code review!
